Ergophobia is pleased to announce its partnership with TransWorld SURF magazine in hosting the online surf video contest “America’s Next Top Grommet”. The contest, a spoof off of the ever-popular TV show “America’s Next Top Model”, will give up-and-coming surfers the chance to score a paid sponsorship with Ergophobia. The contest will open to the public on August 1, 2008 and will close on January 31, 2009. Each month, contestants aged 17 years or younger and sans an apparel sponsor, will have the chance to enter the contest by uploading original videos that include surf and lifestyle footage. The videos, at least 60 seconds in length, will then be reviewed by a panel of industry insiders from TransWorld SURF and Ergophobia. The entries will be judged on performance, difficulty of maneuvers, style, creativity and flare. Full Info Press Release: Click it.
